alright i built my own system now i have a couple problems the first one of course is the game situation. for instance when i intalled quake 4 onto my computer and i go to play it i get to the loading screens and i get to new game and i select the level then the opening thing loads up and says lcick to continue as soon as i click the game just shuts down i dont know why this is but its really getting to me it also did this to hitman blood money.. my computer is completely up to date im using a 3.2 processor sometimes overclocked at 3.7 someone please help! i also have problems when i go to my add/remove programs no programs show up what so ever and i tried doing system restore back to adifferent date before the problems but when it is almost done it says failed to restore HELP ME PLEASE I DONT NO WHAT TO DO I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!! lol thanks

As for your Add/Remove programs, if you are running XP and SP2, the programs may be there, just at the bottom of a huge blank space. If that applies, see if there is any help here:http://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=47155&highlight=b... BitDefender can cause a problem now and then but not every time you open a game, so I don't know.

i have a built system of my own a radeon 128 bit graphics card with its own cooler windows xp 3.2 processor with n aftermarket cooler an asus mother board now no one seems to undestand whats going on.. i cant add or remove programs at all i have quick clean and i have tried removing programs that way but when it finish's the run threw of my harddrive it says it cannot show my programs basically so it has someonthin to do with the computer in general.. now games like quake 4 they just f'n shut down on me its ridiculous.. i cannot reboot my computer nor system restore i need lol like a qiuck fix to install and juts fix my computer all and start fresh i do nt no what to do someone please give me something to fix it lol thank you
