I get random skips and lockups when reading from CD-ROM or DVD-ROM. This happens with both original CD (Tekken Tag) and backup DVD-R played through SwapMagic 3.6.

I have seen a few guides that show how to realign the lens on the older PS2 models by turning a gear, how do I do this on the SCPH-70002 (v13)?

hopefully someone can link you to a guide, the only one's i know are for older models. Does it do this with just the one game, or all of them?

If it does it with just the one game, then it could be that the disk is dirty, or has surface damage, use a q-tip and some alcohol to clean the lense, the ps2 slimline ps2 laser it automatically alligned so i dont think that thats the problem.
