is there a really easy way to change ur fonts, because all of the ones ive looked at u need like 2 or 3 programs and when i try and use font hacker i just dont get how to use it also i need some cool fonts, what ever happend to that ransom font thatd be sweet

Have you tried xflash. That one comes with a custom font file. You can also swap the font out for one of ur own.

thats for custom firmwares thou isnt it? i just want different font, and if somone can tell me where to get that ransom font, i would be one happy dude

can you change out your fonts on a 2.71 or is it another one of those firmware things?

I dont think it's possible yet as we are not able to access flash on 2.71. Although if you had devhook on 1.5 you can change the fonts and gameboots and have a custom 2.71 that way.

No I was saying that with xflash it comes with a custom font you can flash and use on your psp. You can go inside of the directory where xflash has the custom font files and put your own in and overwrite the one it comes with. And use that instead of the one that comes with it. Do you get what im saying or am I just horrible at explaining things.

Lemme check out the directory structure and I'll tell you where u can put your own font file instead of the one it comes with.
UPDATE:
This is where it goes. There is a folder u place inside of your psp named __SCE__XFLASH. There is another folder XFLASH. Go there and go into the modified folder. The font file is called ltn0.pgf. You can overwrite that with your own and use that. If you would like to see wat I'm talking about I can send u a new ltn0.pgf.

you cant use font files from your pc. they have to specially formatted for the psp. I know there is a conversion program intended for this purpose but I dont know where it's at. I will look for it for you. As for the font file im going to send you I can set u up with a user account on my FTP server, send it to your email, send it over yahoo or msn. its up to you.
