I saw a white psp in my local store now its all in japanese! How do I know if its 2.0 & above. And how do I know if its TA- something?
Any clues in which I could see? Any test or programs in order test it?

If it is 2.5 thier is a chance it could be a TA-082 and if it is 2.6 thier is an even greater chance. Dont buy anthing over G probally.

I found a white one w/ the letter G on the Bar Codes.
How do I downgrade this? Steps & required software & etc!!!
Is PSP a good investment? Are the games good enough 4 u?
What do games do you play? What mainly do you use it for?

Coz in my country they were selling old DS, DS lite isn't availble!
They don't sell the m3 & stuff like that. But they modify it themselve. So they sell you the pirated version made from China for like $20. Which I think is total rip-off!!!

First Check your psp firmware and let us know.you said theres a g letter on the box,so it SHOULD be a 2.01.if it is let us know,then we should teach you how to downgrade.

If it is 2.01 do I need GTa? Is there other ways doing it?
Coz I'm not 100% sure that GTA is sold here.

White might be a better colour for girls....

Well I think its a concept of luxury maybe or something that makes me feel unique.
Look its bad enough that you can't play that much games in the psp & carrying bulk device around might as make it look good while your carrying that damn thing around!!!

yes you need gta to run the downgrade app on your psp. make sure you get an unpatched version of gta tho because the new ones dont have the exploit.

I have confirm that the white psp (jap) is a 2.01!
I also have found a GTA which has a code: ULUS 10041!
Is the Gta unpatched?

the console is region free mate and me now have software called devhook once you are down to 1.5 it can emulate version 2.71 its kik ass have a look for the easydowngrader upgrade to 2.5 or 2.6 to donwgrade

I found a cheaper psp but its a 2.6 firmwire & bar code has indicated that its G.
So I wanna confirm if it can b downgraded?
