lol, well the new devhook allows running of homebrew off the 2.71 XMB. you can reveal the psp's flash by this app( ill have to ask my frind what its called lol). if you could install the mod created by booster, that allows the running of homebrew on 2.71, into a real 2.71 flash, do you think itll allow homebrew on a real 2.7 ?

ill try and rephrase it better lol,
devhook .45 allows running of homebrew apps off the 2.71 XMB,
booster has probably created a mod, that makes the emulated 2.71 run the homebrew without giving the corrupt data error.
so if we could install this mod or whatever it is lol, into a real 2.71 firmware do you think itll be able to run homebrew ?

@ alienator:
If there's a possibility to run ISOs and Homebrew off of emulated 2.71, then there IS the slight chance it could work w/ the ACTUAL 2.71 b/c they run w/ the same syscalls and system procedures and checks... almost. So I believe it could work. Booster will be the one to get this working, tho.

well let me try and explain this again pmsl.
*the new devhook allows running of homebrew from the emulated 2.71 XMB
*booster, must have created something that allows the 2.71 to run homebrew without giving the corrupt data error.
*so if we can install this file or whatever it is into a real 2.71 firmware, will we be able to run homebrew on a real 2.71 psp not emulated firmware :)

yea, you CANNOT play normal homebrew. The EBOOTS have to be recompiled w/ the proper SDK. It's a pain in the butt, but once the homebrew is compiled, it will be sweet!
This is all I can find for right now, but it's NesterJ for PSP recompiled in PRX mode. You WILL be able to use this one for DevHook v0.45.
btw, how easy is it to install? You just use the same "dh" folder, right?
I'll let you know more about the hombrew as I find out. Btw, I can't mess w/ the SDK. I thought it would have a compiler/decompiler for the homebrew, but it doesn't.
Btw, to those trying to run homebrew on an ACTUAL 2.70 (you know who you are, hodgins) it's not gonna happen. I ready on the maxconsole forums where Dax said the eloader can't load PRX files. It's in User mode. Kernel mode is where you want it to be for homebrews.
:)
Btw, it's not that DevHook doesn't support 333MHz; $ony actually disabled it in 2.71 emulation. I just read this on maxconsole. :( that really sucks.
