I've got 2 separate game files recently that when I try to convert with paltontsc it says "not a dvd/cd image" and when I try to burn with DVD Decrypter it doesn't recognize the file, yet it is (supposed) to be an iso file(2.21 gigs). I'm able to convert this file with magic iso, but it still is unable to be burned or converted either with DVD Decrypter or alcohol. I'm suspecting this may be a "rip" but not sure and not sure what the problem could be. anyone else have this problem? Games are Battlefront 1 and Heroes of the Pacific PAL

Based on its size, I would have to say its not a rip. The point of rips are to fit a DVD9 game on DVD5, or fit a dvd game onto cdr.

V9 PS2, flip top, SMD, DVDLoader
Pioneer 107, ritek g05
DVD Shrink, DVD Decrypter, Nero

I believe its an iso, but its not identified as one by the burning/converting programs. But even when converted to iso with magic iso, its still not working.

What is the file extension? You say you believe its an iso, so why would you try to convert it to an iso?

You might want to try opening them up in IsoBuster.

agree, if all else fails see if ISO Buster can open it,
extract the files inside, then build a new ISO
