i currently have .44 devhook installed do i have to delete all of the .44 devhook files before i install .45 devhool?

you will have to, but wait... they're gonna have a FULL kit soon, just like the one we all downloaded for v0.44 w/ all the flash folders already installed. Be a day or so and we'll all have it working fine...

its already out. are u talking about the easy installer for .45? because the guy already made it... i just dont wanna mess my psp up by installing .45 with .44 already installed... i jus wanna know if i can install .45 with .44 already installed

yes. But w/ the easy installer, it's going to create a new "dh" folder and you don't know how that will set if it's already there from the previous version. You may have your new "dh" folder in ms0 after the easy install w/ remnants from the OLD "dh" folder and it might screw it up. The DevHook v0.44 folders in ms0:\PSP\GAME will be fine if you've renamed them as I have (changed them to DEVHOOK44), but if your folders still say "DH_ENG" they're gonna be over written. So I guess you should just remove everything. There's no point in having both anyway. If you wanna have the option of 2.60 or 2.71 emulation, just copy the 260 folder from "dh". I would suggest moving that to your desktop. Then place it and you'll be able to choose 260 from the NEW DevHook menu...

yeah u answered my question... i didnt want both .44 and .45 i wanted to know if it would screw it up but ill just delete all DH folders

If you can, format your MS. If you have too much on your MS, go and get File Assistant++ by 71M or IrShell by some other guy...

You can delete w/ these apps and you won't get "No." for an answer...

If you use the .45 upgrade download from psp-hacks.com, you can just drag and drop without deleting any files. It will just remove and replace the needed files.

devhook 0.45 is exactly the same as devhook 0.44. the icon even said it for itself. cuz when i installed the devhook 0.45, it's showing devhook 0.44. i thought 0.45 would fix some of the few bugs of version 0.44 such as setting the cpu clock speed to 333 mhz. to me the only differnt is that it comes with the homebrew 2.xx file.
