I really dont understand how torrents work, I have read everything on them and I can get a few programs, like photoshop with bitcomet......but can someone please explain to me how I can download movies and software faster and better like everyone seems to be doing. I know that i go to mininova.org for example and download a torrent and then open it with bitcomet....when I am downloading a file and it says its done at 100%, IS IT DONE??? or do I then have to upload the files form somewhere I else, I dont get it.....it seems to take 3 hours to get a small file wven with fast connection speeds and then when its says 100% done, the files are all some weird .htm or crap files that never make any sense, do i have to open every file with a new programs liek WinRAR??? How come I cant just ever download and AVI and the watch it???? PLEASE help me, explain how bitcomet works thanks

when it's a 100% it's done unless your talking about the torrent itself which I assume your not considering you say it took 3 hours.Most of the movies I download are in AVI or mpeg,DivX etc.So I'm not sure what's wrong with yours.

First off, you are talking about downloading pirated content, which is against forum rules.
Second, BitComet is a piece of cr@p, i suggest you use ”torrent or Azureus instead.
Third, the reason you can't just download the .AVI is because some people turn their uploads into either one big WinRAR archive, or a bunch of smaller ones.
You extract the actual file from that.
And fourth and last, your question where answered just about 500 times before, so next time, try to use the forum's search function...
