Does anyone know a faster way to do this....I have a bunch of AVI movies I would like to put on dvd's. The way I am doing it now is to use either WINAVI, or avi2dvd to convert to a VOB file, now avi2dvd has a basic menu maker but not what I want. I also have dvd-lab but in order to use it, I have to convert the files from AVI to dvd format, than Demux the audio and video, and than start to make the menus, is there a way to just make the menu and than add it to the converted file. To run winavi or avi2dvd takes about an hour and a half, than another hour for demuxing, than another hour to set the chapters and make the menus, than another hour-hour and a half to compile it all, than 15-30 min to burn...thats like 5 hours of work per movie, any faster ways?...

Thanks for any help all
Chuck

I'm sorry all, I guess I'm stuck in a catch 22 on the post above, what I really need I guess is a replacement software that is like dvd-lab, except that it will let you work with AVI's. I was reading my post and it didn't make sense. I still want to be able to put in chapters where I want them and make the menus but without having to change the file 3 times, only once would be ideal... Not sure if someone has a way to do it, just want to be able to make a menu, set my chapters, than convert to dvd and burn... any help is appreciated...

This program will let you go from file to dvd including menues. The trial inserts a watermark in your movie and is speed limited but have a look:http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/vso_convertxtodvd_guide.cfm
