utorrent's persistent red light problem

hi all, i'm always getting the red-light problem on my utorrent 1.6 and have simply no idea why.

i'm using:
- linksys wrt54g v2.0 router
- Firmware Hyperwrt 2.1b1 + Thibor15c
- win xp sp 2
- utorrent 1.6
- cable 6.5mbps

i always have dchp server disabled + static ips configured for each of the computer in the wireless lan cos there are other applications tt i nd to use port forwarding.

just in case anyone asked, i have disabled windows firewall and stopped the ICS the day i started using norton systemworks

I have tried
- forward the port for utorrent
- disable my norton worm protection and auto protect
- uninstall my norton systemworks
- enabling dmz
- reinstalling utorrent

but all to no avail~

anyone has any solutions?
