What if i have firmware 2.6 and my mother bored can't be downgraded. what am i supose to do to play downloaded iso psp games?

You cant play isos in 2.6. Although U could get a copy of GTA:LCS and play some homebrew games. You could always try downgrading it but theres a possibility of bricking it. Ima buy a ta-082 psp here soon just to see what happens when i try to downgrade it.

Shoot If i worked in a video game store I would have SO MANY psp's. But nope I do not. I do crappy construction in the hot sun. Although Im starting my own computer repair shop in the next few months.

o see the letters on the back of your psp that say umd open the umd disc tray where the letters would say umd on the back the should be a green thing inside the psp right where the umd letters would cover the inside
the green thing is the motherboard is there's lettering on the right side of the motherboard then it's TA-082 if not then you can downgrade

No you cannot. Although you could try, but theres a huge risk of bricking your psp. I cant wait to get a TA-082 psp so I can test it.

The GTA:LCS game is what we're talking about. It's an actual game you buy for your psp (UMD). That game has a savegame exploit which allows us to run homebrew.

no. you need a real unpatched version of gta. the newer ones have been patched so you cant use the exploit so see if you can find one that is used.

I have a patched version that I got to load eloader. Unless all the signs off it being patched are fake and I lucked out and got a fluke.
