How big is the chance that if ya downgrade a factory default 2.6 psp (not a ta-082 mobo) that it will brick?
My brother got a PSP (black one) and he wants to buy a white one and downgrade that.
I just checked a random White PSP for it's mobo and after that I turned it on and noticed it had 2.6 firmware.

Will it be safer to downgrade the black PSP and keep the white one original?

Just wondering around

I downgraded my own psp, so I know howto do it.
So uhm....basicly there's no problem with a PSP being 2.6 fresh out of the box?

Just wondering around

Check for an eboot named HW_SpotLight.zip
