TV Card Software Question

Hi,

I have been researching buying a TV card for my pc ok. And "Media Portal" was recommended to me as the software of choice to use for tuning and recording tv programs onto my hard drive.

My question is this, is Nero 7 TV and media stuff the same thing?Any advice appreciated.

I used Nero premium 7(vision and recode) with my haupuage tv card, it worked quite well, but if you want or need more advanced features i suggest you give VirtualDub a try, its freeware, you can prob find that in afterdawns software section :)
