how do i use an internet browser on my psp if i dont have a wireless access point. i keep geting signals for an access point labled (2wire198) or (2wire192) how do i use one of these.

The psp comes with a web browser on 2.0 and above. If thats not your wireless connection I bet you wont be able to use it becuase most people use WEP protection so people they dont want on cant connect.

i tried it and it didn't work, it says "a connection error has occurred. The access point was not detected."

by the way i just got my psp so im new at everything

not connecting means your too far from the router.
try to get closer to the router to make the signal strength go up.
