look for SLUS (NTSC) or SCES (PAL) in the image file
also you might want to check the forum rules, in particular the section that says "Signatures"... think you are either on the border line or violated it...

Correct, sometimes SCES can be SLES. E for Europe (PAL) U for U.S.A (NTSC).
Thats how I see it anyway.

There's a file on the disc called either 'SLES_xxx.xx' (or SCES) for PAL, or 'SLUS_xxx.xx' (or SCUS) for NTSC. You need to use IsoBuster to open the image file (.iso) to see the contents of the disc image file.
The x's are numbers dependant on Sony's internal release id.

No, you just type in the PAL codes & use them.
To be honest, you'd be better off ditching that crappy MAX & getting yourself a Codebreaker or an Xploder.

you can pick up USB keyboards CHEAP (less than $10) in most computer shops... it'll turn that 30 minutes into a couple of minutes :)

Codebreaker & Xploder both have Keyboard support, and their code support is better. Its also easier to convert codes from other devices & have them work!
Also, if you have CB or Xploder, you can update online!

No, I don't think so, you'd need to burn, then update via internet connection.
Before you burn it though, make sure you have either a Matrix Infinity or DMS4 modchip, as the v9.0 will only work as a backup with those 2 chips.
