im intrested in purchasing an external dvd burner.i currently have an internal one and was wondering..if i want to burn a movie from my hard drive can i insert 2 blank dvds...1 in the internal and 1 in the external and rip them together or is it better to by a 1to 3 duplicater/copier.thanks

Unless you are mass-producing DVDs, you don't need a duplicator. Just tell your burning program how many discs you want to burn. Check NewEgg for deals on externals.

If you use Nero just choose the use multiple burners option and it will burn to more than one drive at the same time.

I use 6 too, here is a pic it is for something else but you can see the setting to use multiple recorders and you can check that.
