His problem is that he can't get devhook to boot up.
@seansara, ensure that you have the dh folder on the root of your ms and then the other 2 folders in the PSP/GAME directory

Make sure you've actually a decrypted dump in the firmware folder of DH if your booting a different firmware.

Heres a link to the newest devhook just for the sake of it.
http://www.psp-hacks.com/file/648 It's the ultimate installer which includes all files you need for devhook to run.

@iPirate and seansara
If he has devhook .44 and is a noob, he prob only got the package that comes with 2.71, so he trying to boot up a firmware which obviously isn't available. I suggest using these setings instead...
UMD SELECT - choose your ISO*
UMD MOUNT - ISO ANYUMD
UMD VERSION - 2.xx -> 2.00
FIRMWARE - 2.71
CPU CLOCK - 222
BOOT SELECT - reboot xmb
*if you have an iso that requires firmware 2.0+, you need to have a umd with a higher firmware than your required game, e.g. i have 'Splinter Cell: Essentials with 2.6' to play 'MX vs ATV' iso which has 2.5. You cannot use a video umd with iso's above 2.0 usually, it didn't work for me anyway.
I'm a noob at this still, but i have fiddled and this is the shit i came up with, hope it helps man ;)

Just to correct you Rhazel you can use ANY UMD. I use the sampler disk to boot all my backups.

gay...have to wait 3 minutes for each post...
@iPirate
sorry if i confused you man. Was merely stating that this guy obviously doesn't know what he's doing, so he wouldn't have the 2.5 dump as devhook .44 comes with 2.71. Sorry if i implied that your a noob...it wasn't on purpose. i used the generic spiderman 2 movie disk that came with the psp. Then i tried using battlefront 2 umd and also nfs:rivals umd...none worked for MX vs ATV

I'm lost in this thread. I was just correcting about only being able to use certain UMD's for booting backups. I know I can use any UMD i want and it works for all backups. :)
