thx for readin. i had cable for years, it worked great with winMX, allowing others to upload from me.

now im using quest dsl 1.5 meg. Wow downloader didnt work from peers. (i quit wow) now im trying to get asian dramas from d-addict, and ive tried 4 diff. torrent tools. nothing is working. here are details. (thx) -modem actiontec gt701-wg

windows firewall (xp) has exeptions enabled- or turned off sometimes,
actiontec port forwarding is enabled to same ports as tracker and DL'er(tried 57640,53000) modem firewall off or low

tried static router, no avail
tried setting windows to static ip. nothing
tried port forwarding, nada, ???since dynamic ip??
tried checking unnumbered ip and VIP in actiontec modem. nada
tried disableing NAT, nada

i have a dynamic IP , does this disable port forwarding?
do i need to return to spendy cable. why i cant config this to run i dont know. thx people
