As an rpg fan, you basically have the choice of playing ported ps1 games that were never that big.
*shrug*
I was playing Valkyrie profile, its ok.
Not many other choices.
the 1 actual psp rpg had poor controls, enough to not want you to play.

could someone list the PSP RPGs and or streadgy games for me?
kinda building a list for when I get around to geting one *L*
also could you list emluation (snes,nes,geneisis) apps for it.
I dout there are any action type games worth while for it...mmm
Mmmm I think I'll get oen after I get a xbox,to me the PSP is kinda like the GBA a lesser version of a better system (GBA missing 2 button and backlighting) PSP missing 2 analog nobs.
I guess if I want to know abotu Xbox games to go posting in the Xbox aera *L*

Not sure really about the MGS game...RPG is a role playing game...so I guess your taking part on the role of Solid Snake...and in this case it IS a turn based game...so yea I guess its an RPG, to some extent.

Okay so all these Japanese RPG really didn't take my interest so i went ahead and got Monster Hunter Freedom...What a great choice!! such a great game, feels alot like fable just not as humurous, very playable seems like theres lots to do and hey, your killing monsters! lol I'd recommend it to anyone because its not exactly RPG its more of an adventue game but i have only done the first 5 or so basic missions and it seems great, can't wait to get further into it

Got to say I really like Monster Hunter, but I really lookingforward to FF on the move!

MGS A?
its a puzle adventue game,hands down not realy a RPG it uses a odd card game system to do stuff and yet is not a card game *L* reminds me of the oddity of Crono cross but only better >>

Most forget the diffrance between action adventure and action RPG a RPG has money and a exp system a adventure game focues on action and adventure.
you can only stero type game grens into theses genrelizations

RPG
MMO
Adventure
Fighting
Streadgy
SIM
fps
Adventure games are thinker games the ofer little action but add action to a adventure game and you get Ninja Gaiden,MGS,ZOE,streagy fcues on coltroling large groupes of charatcers in real time and turn based,a RPG is where exp is gathered to do things.
MGS A is kinda a turned based streadgy game yet nly with one charatcer *L* altho it fits puzzle more.
ggaaa after thinking about game tpyes why dose my brain want to lable most hentai games as puzzle 0-o

Being a RPG fan to, i have been playing a game for many years now on and off. If you get yourself a Megadrive emulator (DGen is good) and get a Dungeons & Dragons - Warriors of the eternal sun rom you might like it. Graphics are 2D but its a good golden oldie, check it out.

Well... if you have 1.5, get a GBA emulator and play Golden Sun that game is really good.

zippy, how did you mention 3 and not mention 4? are you crazy?
i would suggest strapping yourself with a genesis emulator(i use dgen 1.6)
and download phantasy star 4. Its one of the best rpgs ever made.
