Once you have your internet connection setup on your psp you can connect anywhere there is a wireless connection right? Or do you have to set it up each time.

the connection u created will be saved on your psp. so that means when u want to connect it in the future, just go to network update and click connect. if u need to edit your connection, just click on the triangle button and press edit. hope this helps!!

go to network setting not network update or else when you connect, you will update your psp to the most recent firmware.

if you are going to different places youll need to scan for the wireless connections for it to work aswell

I will be traveling in a few days, and I know where I am going there will be lots of wireless connections. So all I have to do is let it scan for wireless connections and then connect right?

Technically yes, but most will probably have WEP encryptions, and you won't be able to connect. But some probably won't, GL with those.
