Hey, I was just playing on my ps2. After I went gameover in a game I reseted my console and just pushed some buttons.. Then Suddenly I got the message matrix infinity turned off..

Now I dont get the matrix loading screen anymore, and backups also dont startup.

Could anyone please tell me how I start my matrix up again?

edit: I have matrix filmware 1.88, and didnt try to update it before or so.

You tried their website for instructions on how to enable/disable the chip?

Straight from the read me for Firmware v.1.88:

TURNING OFF THE INFINITY:
-------------------------

- Press START on joypad 1 until the writing "DISABLED" will appear on screen.
- Press reset once.
- The Infinity is now disabled until PS2 is turned off to Standby Position.

Simply turn off your console and turn it back on. It the problem persists, it could a case of bad media.
