So i have a modchip in my psp and I got this ps1 import. For some reason it loads to the screen where is says Playstation and it shows the logo, but after that it stays black. Can som1 help me with this?

Probably a compatibility issue. The Messiah was an older chip. What game is it?

It's not mod protected. You could try backing it up onto a CD-R aad see if that makes any difference.

yeah my backup of that game works on my chipped ps1 and with my expoit on ps2 and yeah its a messed up game but quite rare now!!!!

hmm, would things change if backed up a copy of the game? I also need help on backing up this game becus im not sure if i have to use a cd or dvd and i dont noe wat files i need to copy becus theres no iso or watever, i dont noe what im saying. anyways thanks for the help.

Maybe, if it's a flaw in the disc itself. There's no guarantee it'll work, but with such an old chip, your options are pretty limited. Backing up PSX games is a snap, use this guide some wise man errr I wrote.
