ibjaredu you can install most windows drivers into linux using a thing called ndiswrapper but it can be a bit complex at times. If you get one like Mandriva it will ask if you want to install a Windows one and do all the hard work for you. Suse would have this facility to I would imagine.

i dont no why everyone bothers trying to downgrade! ye i no u can play homebrew and iso on it but wats the point, lets face it homebrew is rubbish all the time, and for those people who do put iso on there memorystick, are cheap why cant you just buy the game brand new off ebay for about £25, i just upgraded to 2.8 and i love it, the updates they have done on the browser is amazing, and now i can play playable demos, yes i no that one of the reasons sony update is to stop people from using homebrew but another reason is to make the psp a better entertainment consol!

nottyer, in the world of homebrew theres 2 kinds of people
1. People who understand it and use it.
2. People who cant figure it out, blame everyone becasue they dont understand it, make bad posts/threads, rant at smarter people.

@nottyer, not all people download games illegally. Second games dont cost a tiny amount of money. Third the System Software updates you love so much are mostly features hackers made before hand like changeable wallpapers ,the web browser and location free player.

Yeah you're right there ibjaredu, without homebrew I would have used my psp for about a month then never used it again.

He's blatantly pi55ed cos he was stupid enough to upgrade to 2.5, then got impatient waiting for a downgrader so kept upgrading.
