I have worked with a bunch of kids for the past two years. As a going away gift, I am trying to make them all copies of all the pictures we've taken over those two years. I have also made a short video of the best pics (using muvee autoproducer and WinDVD Creator) that includes audio. But, I also want to give them copies of all the pictures for their own keeping (in digital format- on a DVD). Is is possible to combine these objectives? The video I created is only about 6min long, so there is plenty of space left on the DVD for all the picture files (about 2gb worth). But, I have yet to find a way to have both a DVD that will play on a standard DVD player, but will also allow them to view the rest of the files on a computer. I personally have Sonic burning software as well as WinDVD Creator. I also have access to Nero on a friends computer, if needed. Please help! Also, as an added complicator, I leave the organization in three days, so I need a fix fast! Thanks!

Yes.
You can do this with no problem at all, assuming your DVD-Video authoring software will allow you to either
A - Write to a Video_TS folder and your burning application is capable of including ROM content & correctly formatting the disc & putting the correct start sector blocks in (forget Nero), or
B - your DVD-Video authoring software can add ROM content (Most good ones can).

Whatever you do, do NOT try & use Nero for this, as whilst it might be okay for images, it is useless for DVD-Video from folders. It cannotreliably place the IO & BUP files sufficiently far apart, and you stand a very high chance of getting an unusable disc.

Try either
A - Adobe's EncoreDVD. There is a 30 day tryout version at www.adobe.com, or
B - Media Chance Labs DVD-Lab Pro. Again, a fully functional 30 day trial version is available, but this will expect you to provide correctly formatted DVD compliant files. Encore will handle the transcoding for you.
