My friend has a 2.6 like me but somehow he has go the Loco Roco demo to work. I believe it was realesed so it would work on 2.6 but does anyone has a link where i can get the 2.6 version of this demo?

You have to edit the Demo to make it work on 2.6. Lemme see if I can dig up a version that works on 2.6.
Edit: Sorry, my bad. I stand corrected, there was a UMD demo of LocoRoco that came with a Playstation Magazine that only required 2.6. Once again, sorry.

Yeah but you could run it through devhook, considering it emulates 2.71.

Obviously you can run it through Devhook, but he has a 2.6 PSP. I also edited that post where I said it could be edited and corrected myself.

Well he can downgrade his psp if he wants to play it that bad. As long as its not a TA-082 mobo and came with factory 2.6.

Well I was wrong about that. Very very sorry. I was thinking ISO file for some reason. Well if you had an unpatched copy of GTA:LCS you would be able to downgrade but like you said you're scared to try it.

i opened the demo with PBP Unpacker and changed the version in the PARAM.SFO from 2.70 to 2.60 and it boots but then just turns off you PSP. Its a start anyway

the loco roce demo is sooo encrypted its unbelievable lol, it requires 2.71 and hex gave me the good idea to use devhoo, i tried to play about with it (its it eboot format not iso ) but if you take away 1 letter or add a letter/character to the coding it becomes corrupt instantly :(

It should work in Devhook without having to add/edit anything in the Demo. It's encrypted the same way as anything else that comes from Sony but it requires specific library functions that are only present in the 2.71 firmware.
