I have managed to work out the process for ripping a dvd but I still don't understand how to add the subtitles. I read another message on the forum about the VFAPIConvert (from VFAPI Reader Codec package) but I can't seem to find this. What software do i use?
The stage I am at is encoding the video with TMPGEnc. Otherwise i don't seem to have any problems. if I could just add the subtitles that would be great!

VFAPI Reader codec is listed in our software section, just use the software search to locate it. And yes, you were looking at a correct post -- you need to add VFAPIConvert, VirtualDub and VobSub in between AVI.cfm" class="forum_link" target="_blank">DVD2AVI and TMPGEnc in order to add subtitles to VCD when ripping from DVD.
