Please help me. My Devhook Crashes while trying to load any ISO

Hi, i desperately need help with getting devhook to load my isos correctly. i used to have fastloader and umdemulator and my games worked fine. They wont work with devhook .44 or .45. Ive manually installed and done the auto install. Devhook crashes after i click the iso. My settings are anyumd iso and firmware emulator is set to 2.71. Anyone have a clue why im having so many issues. Spent 6 hours on this yesterday.

try changing the anyumd setting to umddisc :), iso anyumd has never worked for me

How could i check. i followed step by step at psp-hacks.com and also did the auto-installer which all you need to know how to do is format your memory stick then run that program and hit next a bunch..its a no brainer..but same issue...

well go to your memorystick, and see how big you dh folder is in your memorystick root, if its over/about17mb then theyre ok

hi, back at my house, and took a look at my psp, changed to umd disk and checked my firmware it was only 86 kb. Is that why?

i say reformart ur mem stick and then go here

then install devhool .45
he has an easy installer which does everything for u
u can emulate 2.71 so no need for anything below
for settings....
first press "O"
then for umd select choose ur iso
then for Umd mount choose iso anyumd
then for umd version choose 2.xx->2.00
then for firmware choose 2.71 and....
leave the rest the way they are and urs should start up...
also remeber to have a UMD disc in the UMD drive before u load up devhook

My Fifa Street 2 was crashing at the biggining and I converted it to a CSO and now it works fine.

Well, i will try to convert it to cso but my friend at work has the exact same iso game. (i copied it from him) and it works fine but on mine it doesnt. All my settings match up with the above first press "O"
then for umd select choose ur iso
then for Umd mount choose iso anyumd
then for umd version choose 2.xx->2.00
then for firmware choose 2.71 and....
leave the rest the way they are and urs should start up...
but my psp crashes everytime i click start. The memory card shows it accessing then it crashes. Ive used the autoinstaller from psp-hacks too and tryed the manual install...i think the autoinstaller was from chaos. In fact ive tried the .44 and .45 same thing. I have several ISO's and its the same thing with everyone. Im wondering if my 4gb memory card is bad but the other emulators i had before worked perfectly. And ive formatted my memory card before each install. I dont understand it
I have FW version 1.5 just an FYI

do you have a sandisk? Because on my sandisk i cant run homebrew. I crashes. I copy the Sony MS to the SanDisk MS but it wont run. Does anyone know why, Hex?

Damn...that's why it doesn't work. The 4GB HDD doesn't work with Devhook.

maybe you dont have the right settings, or have 2.7 fw emu installed or you dont have a 1.5 psp.
