I have no idea what broadband is i have a cable modem and my friend did it with his psp and he tried to do it with mine but it didnt work does it have to be wireless or cause i use roadrunner

if u cant afford a router, then buy PSP WiFi Max instead. it works just like a wireless router or maybe even better. buy it at any gamestop store for 40 dollars.

pff wifimax has so many bugs in it. Wireless routers are cheaper now.

You can get routers for $0-20. Don't buy Wifi Max.

A router is built for actually using wireless internet.
Wifi Max is built as a cheap add-on "router" for the PSP.

its cheap alright. and the router is built for internet without cables. Like the psp. WiFimax is a gimmick.

Wi fi max sucks i had too chuck it, it disconnects when it wants too and sometimes never connects back again. get a linksys router.
