well i got a movie in XviD and i converted it into DVD format using avitodvd and i did it right like the guide on this site and the iso is only 849 kb and i put it in the dvd and it shows 2 folders with nothing in it. i also have the mpeg but i cant burn it as none of my programs recognize it? help? and also i have another movie that i got in bin and cue and i put the bin file to burn on DVD Decrypter but the program says its not the right format for dvd?

well first of all no one in the dvd section answers and ive asked this question about 2 weeks straight and i still havent got an answer and maybe if someone was such a ass about it they could be considerate and help out wow stop crying. and how am i senseless if no 1 is there to help and maybe this is important?

.bin and .cue are Clone CD extensions, therefore, they won't burn with DVD Decrypter. Use Alcohol 120% for CD burns and DVD Decrypter for DVD's. Also about the XviD movie you downloaded. If you still have the original .avi (or whatever it is) open Nero Vision 4 and let it convert and burn your DVD. You can get a trial of Nero at

Ok, first off when you have a BIN and CUE file you burn the CUE file with any CD burning program and it will work. Do not burn the BIN file as that will not.

As for the XviD i am not real sure. Depends what the actual file type is as to what program would convert it best.
With my DivX files i used DivX2DVD (see link below for this free program)
see if that works for you, it will convert it to video-TS type files or an ISO depending on what you want. But i can tell you this, conversion takes a long time especially if the file is too large to burn to a DVD.
For example the movie file is say 6GB, then you have to spend a few hours running the conversion program, Get the file you converted, used DVD Shrink to take that file and compress it to fit a DVD5 disc, then burn it.

You're asking for free help from folks who do this in their spare time so if your question doesn't get answered in whatever timeframe you expect it should then that's tough - it doesn't give you the right to post whatever you want wherever you want.
