So I've got a bit of an authoring dilemma. I'm by no means an expert, so am seeking advice. I have a movie (to be unnamed) that came out in full screen DTS DVD in region 1, and widescreen DD in region 2. I bought copies of both, and want to make a hybrid disc for myself of widescreen DTS. So I need to figure out how to accurately extract the audio from the DTS disc, and combine it properly with the Widescreen video, while converting the widescreen video to NTSC so it's watchable on the TV. Strangely enough the video time is slightly different between files, which I believe is due to the different frame rates and should correct itself after conversion. Probably. Any good advice on getting started?

Although I cannot solve your problem, just wanted to tell you DVD Rebuilder can convert 4:3 to 16:9 in case you are not able to do it your way.

Thanks for the thought. Unfortunately I'm trying to not lose picture. Which means sticking with native 16x9 anamorphic rather than cropping.
