Okay i dont think this is a playback question but:

I'm trying to encode a video that DGIndex shows as NTSC and interlaced. I was following the DVD to XviD Guide and it sayed try to use force film. I did and in GKnot i still get this:



Im a noob at this and completely lost. Can someone help?

Force film is for when you have a Progressive source with 3:2 pulldown flags. Your source would be interlaced, possibly hybrid.

i checked the video again. and if hybrid meant only a few interlaced frames. and a few Progressive frames. you were right.

Im still stuck.

I'd suggest that you head over to the doom9 AVISynth forum and do some reading. Learn how to use decomb, etc.
