Okay so I want to make a backup of Battle Stadium D.O.N and I have the folder for Battle Stadium D.O.N, It contains a bunch of winrar's labled cvn-bsd. They are all the size 48,829kb except for one that is the size 265kb. There are 6 alltogether. I have no idea how to burn this to a dvd and make a PS2 game. I think each of these files contain an ISO But I thought you only could burn ONE ISO to a dvd, so since there are multiple ones it confuses me badly.
I use DVD-Decrypter and DVD-Shrink to burn things. If anyone could help me with figuring this out and making a PS2 game out of it that would be great. Thanks alot!
Hmm.. not sure how you ended up with rar files, just use DVD Decrypter, rip the game (tutorial in my sig.) and burn it. Also your question has been asked way too many times and there's even a sticky dedicated to it, how about use the search function before you post
No I don't need to know how to rip it. I just wanted to know why there are so many rar files, I downloaded it and it came with lots of rar files. Do I just extract one and then burn that?
I read the sticky it doesnt solve my problem. So anyways I extracted one of the rar files and aparently it's the entire game, its a little over 1 gig. So I attempted to burn it to a DVD. For some reason it didnt work. I tried using both DVD-R + and - but neither worked. The type of DVDs i'm using is Fuji and Sony also. I am using Swap Magic btw and when I put in the newly burned game it says NOT A VALID PS2 DISC.
I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. When I look at the ps2 file it has system.cnf file and other files in it. I'm pretty sure I'm burning it correctly though because dvd-decrypter recognises the file and burns it and everything.
If I could please get some help that would be awesome.
Battle Stadium D.O.N is a PAL game, since it was never released in America. This may be why it doesn't work for you. Before you can play it in an American PS2, you need to patch it to NTSC with a PAL to NTSC patcher. You can get that here: http://www.sksapps.com/mis/ps2_pal2ntsc_yfix.rar It might tell you it couldn't do a Y-fix, that's fine, it did that to me, and my version works great. Then burn the patched iso to a disc and try running it, it should work then. That's a sweet game, but it is too hard to unlock new characters.
