need iso help

I launch my iso of GTA using dev hook, and it starts up, the memory stick flashes a couple of times and then it just does nothing. It even plays the short video when you scroll over the UMD icon in the menu. Whats up with it?

Download, Devhook 0.45 use it to launh your ISO, if your problems are persisting, post your settings.

On the menu of Devhook press UMD SELECT and selest your iso (eg- gtalcs.iso)

uh oh, my brain is starting to hurt again...
put ISO in a folder labeled "ISO" under the root menu...
put DH folder which contains the firmware 2.71 under the root menue...
put the two run files under games in the PSP folder...
run the devhook via psp menu...
have the settings for the game select the ISO you placed in the ISO folder...
Hit Start...

Great, thanks Amitguru I will test as soon as I manage to download a full ISO. At the moment the UMD SELECT only has UMD DISC. I imagine this will change as soon as I put an ISO in the ISO folder?

my screen turns black as well after the psp game intro. Here are my settings. By the way, I am using Devhook v.44 with 2.50 FirmWare.
Umd Select-Grand Theft Auto.iso
UMD MOUNT-ISO Anyumd
UMD version 2.xx-2.00
Firmware-2.50
cpu clook-33mhz (I heard this runs GTA faster)
Boot Select-reboot XMB
Other-Preload Address-0x88e00000

The Iso appears to be good. When you scrool over the UMD icon it plays the GTA video and song, like any other umd, but then it loads and it just doesn't do anything. Ill try anthor iso soon though.
Also,is is rare to have bad iso files, or is it common?

http://www.hellochild.da.ru/ go to this link and select the psp tester on the right hand side of the page, put your psp into usb mode and run the tester, it checks all valid files etc, so if your iso is bad itll tell you :)
