Well the 2.8 Downgrader is here, you can download it from PSP Updates:

The info on the change log is :
[Network]
In [RSS Channel], the download function for animation contents and image contents is now supported.
In [Location Free Player], it is now possible to login via wireless LAN access point.

AAC files in ".3gp" extension can now be played.
[Misc]
Supporting saving to "MUSIC", "PICTURE" and "VIDEO" folders in "Memory Stick Duo".

Hope fully Booster can get 2.80 running AsAp. But till then do not upgrade as it isnt really major.

yeh ill be waiting for dhook .46, but i dont think this one will be so easy sony will have some protection, and if you guys remember it was a while before we could emulate 2.71 aswell.

rss are wireless casts. they come in three forms audio video and text, at the moment, if you use 2.80 the psp will support video and audio.
