is there any good worth while custome firmwares to install that allows you to play games straight from the XBM..

i.e without the use of any loaders?

Well, there are those which allow you to play music while you do other stuff in the PSP menu...

No auto-boots on ur UMDs so you never have to open the tray again...

Few other things here and there you can edit but im not interested in writing to flash since bricking my PSP would royaly suck

yeh and runumd lets you also run some games of the xmb, but the other one is devhook but the bad thing about it is that it only support games that are 1.5 games
