Are u sure it was an unpatched version of GTA. Which version of firmware does it need to run?
2.0 = unpatched
2.6 = patched

I bought this psp second hand so I wouldn't know if there was any patching that had been done.

No not the psp the actual UMD of GTA:LCS. Put it and go to the update icon and it should say update 2.0 or update 2.6. If it's 2.6 then its the patched version.

You got the patched version of GTA so you wont be able to downgrade with that one.
