Here is what I have got :
1) PS2 slim SCPH-75001 (V14 G047-52). (not modded)
2) Usbextreme in a working state.

Since not all games are compatable with USBextreme, I am planning to play backup games as well. But I dont want to mod my PS2.

After doing little research on this forum I found that Cogswap can be used. Is it compatable with my PS2?

If it is compatable, is there a way to load the cogswap.elf file from my USB disk using USBextreme?

Thanks for your time and reply!

Im not too good with how usbextreme works, but if it allows you to load .elf files, then you can just use CDLOADER.elf to load your backups, but you will need at least one original game with a big TOC size to be able to play most games.

Yes thats what exactly looking for to load elf file from USBextreme.
But the problem is the copy software(ul_install) for USBextreme backs-up only the PS2 format disks and ISO images.
I could copy the zoneloader with USBextreme and run succesfully.
I could copy the swapmagic image to USBextreme but when I run it, I get the Swapmagic screen for a few seconds and then the screen blanks out.

In short is there a way to load elf files from USBextreme?

Im not sure if you can or cant, heres the link to the CDLOADER download:

I think that you should copy the file onto your hard drive and see if it works, if it doesnt then you can use an alternative method, that is, copying action replay max to your hard drive, then going into its media player, using a flash drive, load the CDLOADER off the flash drive, and then you cna play your backups, complete guide to loading backup with ARMAX is here:
