what? Snes9x works on 1.5 and the 2.6 eLoader i believe. I havent tried it on 1.5 yet, i will this weekend.

ouch! 8 pages and it seems you havent got it. sell/trade your 2.8 psp for 1.5 or anything downgradable.
you're not screwed, your psp is just very-up-to-date-with-security
and you CANNOT do anything that sony dont want you like use software created by regular non-sony people (homebrew folks).
