Trouble with NCAA rosters

I downloaded the gamesave of the NCAA 07 rosters and I'm trying to get them onto my PS2 using swap magic 3.6 and this guide http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/267976 . Everything works until I go to load the file into NCAA and I get an error. Does anyone know what the problem is?

I just used the max drive so I can't help you on that aspect. What I would do if I were you is to go and get blacklover's ps2 roster file. Gamerosters probably stole it from him anyway. www.operationsports.com

i've been using blacklover's ps2 roster files, i've tried the first version and the one he released today. I think the problem might be in the first step when I have to convert the file to an .npo. Everything else seems to work but the save file is always corrupted. anyone know anything about this?

they're not allowed to use real player names because of ncaa regulations. i think i might just have to buy a max drive.
