I just cannot get any ISO Game to Load!!!

hi,
I hope that someone can help me, I have a psp that I took the firmware down to 1.50, now I am trying to load some ISO and rips that I have gotten, I just for love nor money cannot get any of them to work, is there any way that someone had a prats guide to how to do it? I have tried devhook umb emulator and daxiso but I get the same result, when I tried to load a game I either get the psp to go black and lock up totally requiring a hard reset of an error message when it looks like the game is gonna load? I am trying monster hunter.iso (NTSC) daxter rip, burnout legends, fight night round 3 iso and none of then have worked.
please help as its making me want to hurl my psp against the wall..

use devhook and then use these settings
UMD SELECT - iso you wanna play
UMD MOUNT - ISO ANYUMD
UMD VERSION - 2.xx --> 2.00
FIRMWARE - 2.71
CPU CLOCK - 222
BOOT SELECT - reboot xmb
and leave other where it is.
post back results. also use the newest devhook, the link is in my sig.

Hi,
what do you mean by loader?
I am just using the devhook 45 and a clean ISO image,
I have managed to get burnout legends working but when I tried either daxter it reboots after about 30 seconds of gameplay and when I try monster hunter is gets an error message about the files not being found when i try and create a new save game..
am I being thick?

yeah from what i know you need to have any umd in the psp to run the iso game's or els it will just lock up or go 2 the home menu
4get psp's im on dat 360 now cha dig!! |

im not sure cause every time i try with out a umd it locks up so you should just pop in the sampler disc or any umd laying around
4get psp's im on dat 360 now cha dig!!

ok, thanks I have managed to get the ISO and CSO files working with the ultimate devhook 45 etc but I am still having problems with DAXISO files, these just will not work, is there anythat that you can tell me from the best settings to compress to the ones that I need to have on the psp for them to boot?

I'm using devhook 0.44 on FW1.5 and my umd is MGA1. I'm trying to load megaman maverick x.
I load devhook.44, and my settings are this:
Target: (reboot XMB)
UMD-ISO: my iso
UMD-Mode: ISO anyumd
Flash: 271
Ver: 2.xx -> 2.00
clock: 222/111
Remote: remote controller
I put my UMD in and select start.
But instead of getting the game, I get FW2.71. Why is tat so and how do I make it work?
(using devhook can play all games right? From FW1.5 to FW2.5)

my psp will convert to FW 2.7 and then it says the game could not be started. I see the iso appear as if its a umd but then when I try to start it...it says game could not be started....any ideas?

might be a bad iso tray a different one and see if it says the same error

Hi,
I have only owned my psp for about 2weeks and am trying to run my ISO's on it. I have downloaded devhook and am trying to get my games to work. I followed what you have said above but when i run devhook on my psp it comes up with a screen that says things in white writing with a black screen. What do i need to do? Does any one have a screenshot tutorial available this would be a great help?

hey i am new to psp's and wanted to get started with using downloaded games. I have got a psp a 1gb memory stick and a football manager game i dowloaded and i was wondering if anyone would help me to set up this game because i have no idea .... ive got msn so if anyone would help ill give you my addie so it will be faster.

devhook will not load your ISO.dax
i used this "guide" which you posted here and i had absolutely no success.
you will have to decompress with daxcreator. then it should work with devhook, i have been playing most of the afternoon ^_^

and when i go to to the memory icon in the game icon i get all corrupted data files instead of devhook??
What am i doing wrong??Do i have to modify any files when i transfer them onto the psp or do i jus place devhook files and run it on psp??
Please help.
