i bought this buffalo wli-u2-kg54 usb wifi dongle so that i can do wifi (internet browsing) on my psp but the psp wont detect any acess points. i need help for the proper setup so my pc with adsl would be the access point.

PC with ADSL - 2 Lan Cards - 1 for DSL and another for Connection With Laptop
Laptop - Conneted to Cross LAN on PC 2nd Lan Adapter(PCI)
Buffalo WLI-U2-KG54 usb dongle/key
PSP 1.5 with Devhook
PSP 2.5

may i ask if a sales man conned you into buying this?
becasue this dongle will only take wifi in, not shoot it out. Theres no way that this will give your psp wifi access. Buy a wifi router!

i would eventually use the dongle on the laptop when i get a wireless router just to remove the cross cables coz my brothers trips on its most of the time then he rambles about the laptop having no internet connection.
btw i dont wanna conn anyone to buy it and make them have headaches like i did spending nights trying to set it up as an access point with no luck. any tnx your a big help clearing my mind.

Dont con em into it. Just tell em it's a wifi receiver and not an access point. Of if u still got the receipt take it back and tell em it didnt work. Or let em have it and tell em the salesperson told you irrelevant information. youll get your money back with one of those.
