I wish to put Terminator 2 (Judgement Day)on my PSP.
However, everytime I have done it with DVD Decrypter, and then PSPVideo9 I get a file that is 950MB

I do have the room for it, just that seems to be wayy to big.
I have done other movies which were over 2 hours, with very good quality settings, and they come out to 4-500MB

Can anyone tell me perhaps what settings they used with this particular movie?

Thanks
:)

Well using DVD Decrypter for the DVD you yield a very big file since it is a DVD. Dvd's are 4.3 or 4.7 gigabytes, i dont remember. Try DVD Shrink. Did you use DVD movies before or was it a DivX or AVI?

Always used DVD's before. As I said Star Trek Nemesis came out to about 450MB. It is a very long movie as well.

That's odd. Could just be terminator 2. But like i said you might wanna try DVD Shrink as it decrypts the movie just like DVD Decrypter but you can also select how big you want the resulting movie to be.

Do you have a link to a guide (esp for using DVDShrink for people who want to put the movie on the PSP)

I only know how to remove parts of the movie that I don't want etc, with DVD Decyrpter

Thanks

I dont have a guide for it but if u can use DVD Decrypter you will be able to adapt with this. It's practically self explanatory. Very simple to use. Although if you do decide to download it and have troubles post back here and I can help as I use it quite often.

Well, I tried DVD Shrink....I just did Johnny Dangerously (a movie smaller than STNG Nemesis by a good margin) yet ended up with a filesize of 585MB! I think I am going to be needing a little bit of help with this program.

I don't see how I can uncheck (as in DVD Decrypter) the items I don't wish to encode (all the extras etc) All I saw I could uncheck were the sub-titles, and other languages.

I also set the start and end time, yet still the file ended up HUGE.

For reference, I did STNG Nemesis, with DVD Decrypter, and PSPVideo9 at a pretty high bit rate, final size was 480MB

Any help appreciated.

Thanks
