So...what should I do after I downgrade from 2.6?

Well, I've hopefully got an unpatched version of GTA:LCS. My friend is going to lend me his today so I'll finally get the chance to downgrade.
Only thing is, once I'm done with that...what's next? Should I look into custom firmware or emulated firmware? The main reason I'm downgrading is so I can play Monster Hunter Portable. I got an iso that i recently decompressed to a .cso.
Any suggested tutorial links(yes I know they're all sticked) are welcome or just plain suggestions.

get devhook .45 Ultimate Installer, which will emulate 2.71 firmware, and use that to load your .cso
what else are you interested in doing? custom firmware i've not dabbled in so i can't really comment on it, but otherwise you've got devhook at your disposal and you've got other console/handheld emulators SNES/NES/GBA/GB/Sega/atari whatever.... (sorry i don't know any of the links off the top of my head, but read the guide to newbies to 1.5 or any or all of those threads that are stickied.

Mate your actually suppose to upgrade to 2.0 after it then downgrade to 1.5 to double check all data is cleared, then id look at getting devhook 0.45 ult installer like ipirate said or if u wana be modern ;) get the 0.46 version :P

Hmm, so I'm assuming that the 2.0 -> 1.5 downgrade isn't that complex? I've read about it at forever geek and psphacks so I'm also assuming that I shouldn't have any problems either.

It's very easy to use. All it does is flash the index.dat file which holds the firmware version of your psp to say 1.0. Then you run the 1.5 update eboot.

Tam i think thats only for some people becasue i never had to upgrade to 2.0 then back to 1.5

well on my bros psp that i downgraded from 2.5, it doesnt display the corrupt data icons, theyre like invisible, but theres the space in the list, anyone else have this ?

Yeah i know , it never did any harm to my psp either but then i upgraded to 2.0 then down to 1.5 to make sure rather than risk it lol

I'm at 2.6 currently. Later on today I'm stopping by my friend's house and he is lending me GTA: LCS so I can downgrade to 1.5 using the EZ Downgrader.

Well there is no need to upgrade to 2.0 then to 1.5 as the downgrader takes you to 1.5. Or were you talkin about someone elses psp?
