Regarding demo disc fw upgrade prompt

I've put the demo disc into my 1.5 fw psp to save the time for those iso games that require the disc. Whenever I load my psp I see a prompt for upgrading. Is there a way to remove the fw upgrade prompt at the startup and any form of upgrade fw prompting?

Yeah I did..but I accidentally created another thread..oh well =X

x flash description is kinda scary for noob users like me:

"In case you're new at this, when this app is used with caution and enough knowledge, it could alter and create a custom firmware for your PSP. The operative term in that sentence is enough knowledge-- using it even if you have no idea what in the world you're doing could result to a bricked PSP."

Is there any tutorial to use the xflash for noobs? =X

btw..what's a firmware dump? Been seeing this phrase in alot of threads but have no idea what it means.

basically its the psp's os, kind of like windblows.

what demo disc do you have?? u might be able to find the one that doesn't have a fw upgrade prompt at a used store or pawn shop....

To ipirate: So what's the use of dumping a 1.5 fw into a folder?

To smurff: Mine's the Demo Disc for psp vol.1 (including psp 2.0 update)

I'm also wondering what's flash0 and flash1 folders, is it neccesary if I got the devhook 0.45 already?

jw cuz i have the vol 1 w/ no update, so i wasn't sure and thought i'd ask, but u could look for one w/ no update if u'd like....
