They're both written in completely different programming language, using different technology. Same reason you cant play a PC game on a PS2 or XBox.
Some things in life just cannot be done. You'll learn that with age.

It can be done but its VERY hard
You will need a xbox and a PS2
First take apart the ps2
pull out ALL the guts and discard
take apart the xbox
carefully remove all the guts
place the xbox guts into the PS2 case
reassemble
there you go xbox games playing in a PS2
Or try this
place the xbox on TOP of the PS2 like stacking them
and then you have xbox playing on a PS2
I just having some fun so this is just a joke
Just go buy both systems and mod them
My xbox has a excuter 2.6 and 160gb HDD
My PS2 has a 120gb HDD with a HDD loader
I also have a Halo 2 limited edition Xbox unmodded for xbox live
And a Xbox 360

Actually there's a new mod I read about. It's called the Xbox reach around. You bend over and insert the power chord from the PS2 into your rectum. Then while your rectum generates electrical charge to power the PS2, it acts a signal/code converter for the Xbox. While it's plugged in your anal cavity, put your Xbox game in the PS2, and the conversion takes place. Conversion time may vary, according to what you had to eat that day. Enjoy!

There was a dude in year 8 class saying he got a modchip on his ps2 to play xbox game or xbox to play ps2 games, i was like are you crazy?. Honestly there might be some crazy people out there trying to make this thing sort of work,i dont know if it can be done or not.also who knows what happens when you insert a cord up your butt? might work?

ahahahaha, this is just as bad when someone asked the samething expet to play xbox on the psp and i said that you need to take the firmware of a Xbox dvd drive and use the MPH firmware launcher to load it up. some of you guys probably dont know what im talkin about, but if ya did, you all would be lauging so hard. atleased stang did.

Yeah I remember that one, Stang showed it to me. He talked about how he could mod the 360 with PSP firmware, then threatened to kill himself when noone believed him. Yes, that was quite funny.
