I bought a 30g video ipod in the U.S and never opened it till i got home to the U.K it works fine untill i try to put video podcasts off itunes on it i always get this file is not in the right format message. I have turned on the auto update of video's and its still not working i have tried video podcast's from the U.K itunes and the U.S itunes store with still no joy.

Has anyone any idea's

Which format are your video podcasts? iPod only supports mp4, m4v and mov below 480x480.

The only problem with that is he said that he got the Podcasts from the iTunes Store, so the format won't be an issue I don't think. This is a strange problem. Are you sure that you have enough space on the iPod for the Podcasts?

Theres more than enough space i have about 20g free its a real strange one i downloaded the sky sports podcast and a few others last nite and only the sky sports1 would go on the ipod the rest gave me the same not the right format message.

There mp4 the videos have all been downloaded from itunes.
