I'm stuck in the old days using Dev 41d (so sue me) but is there anyway to use a custom gameboot by replacing the gameboot in ms0:/dh/250/flash0/vsh/resource ?? i just don't feel like flashing no more. i made a cool one from FF7 Advent Children.

well bullocks, doesn't want to work or something... :( i can view it on the pc w/o sound cuz i have the pmf decoder, but it just doesn't want to show up on the psp... what crap!

is it named gameboot.pmf...if so thats odd...i had the prince of persia gameboot on mine where blood splatter acrossed the screen.

i have that as my normal 1.5 boot screen, the pop one, and then i wanted this one for when doing iso's and for some reason i just get a white screen when it does the load where it says psp.

Thats weird....you should try puttin the PoP one on there just to see if it's not the one u made. I had that one on 1.5 and 2.71.

well when i tried a 7mb gameboot ( i know kill me lol) it didnt play it and like you said still played the original sony one without the sound, i deleted the original so there must be a backup somewhere lol

hmmm, i dunno if it's a size issue cuz it's smaller then PoP.....but bigger then the one they give, and when mine loads it's not like it loads the original one, it just has a blank white screen w/ no sound and psp in gray letters over the white screen. i was wondering if there's a time length on these things?

If you use the pmf encoder, you cant use it in devhook.
Congratzi.
Something about the encoder doesnt add some info to the header that devhook, using newer firmware, insists on being there.
Supposedly mph loader will show it since it bypasses the header checks, and flashing it for 1.5.
But now your playing with fire.

well can we change the coldboot for fw emulation? guess the couple people w/ the full sdk will have to do it or something since the leak was only a partial.
