i just got Nero 7 and im getting this illegal disc error whnever i try to burn a dvd
is somehting wrong with my drive or the 16x memorex DVD-R?

I will not answer questions in my shoutbox, sorry. If you are unsure about the firmware update then leave it be and do the other suggestions.
BTW, I just read you're using memorex, they are horrible discs.
