need help with devhook 0.46!!

i just found out today that there is a new version of devhook 0.46. i placed the dh folder the root of the memory card and the game folder on my psp folder. but when i pressed fm installer on the game, there was an error showing that data.sar is missing on the root of the memory card. and when i tried to launch the new devhook it froze on my psp. any idea why??

thats because there is no firmware installed. unless there is an ultimate installer already. you have to retrieve the data.psar from a 2.71 eboot with psp brew or pbp unpacker. place that in the root of ur mem then run the firmware installer.

hexitnow, o yea, have they fix the 333 mhz for the devhook 0.46 yet. cuz in the readme it said that it works for some. so i am just confirming if it really works.

oh, so u going to wait for the ulimiate installer to come out?? u havent answered my question yet. where do i get this date.sar file??

ah sorry um go to http://www.psp-hacks.com and download the 2.71 eboot. Then download pbp unpacker or psp brew, either one will work. Open the update eboot in one of those and extract the data.psar. Then drop it to your memstick and run the firmware installer

that's weird, thanks for the eboot link. i got it to work but when i launch the devhook 0.46, my psp got frozen again, i guess it is not the fm installer that is causing the problem. but then what is it?

i have to say this, disagree if you need, but stick with the stable .45 till .46 is perfected with a ultimate installer.
