Is there anything like Bitcomet or of the sort for the PSP? In other words is there a Bittorent app that actually runs on the PSP and downloads what you want to download onto your pspz memstick?
If I insult you...don't get offended...my insults are "friendly insults"...I know this sounds stupid (ridiculous) but I am fet up of writing, "no offense" in my posts...

Is it easy to make if someone wanted to?
P.S.
If someone wants to make this...add this feature->If it loses the connection with the wireless internet connection...make it so that the app keeps on trying to reconnect to that same signal (internet connection) without giving up...that way you can walk around say your house (or any other location) and if you leave the signal's reach and then come back to its reach...it will reconnect...
If I want to make this myself...will it be hard? What do I need to learn? C++? LUA? Both?

Well TBH in all reality I dont think its gonna happen at all. And if does it wont be anytime soon. As you're going to have to download the .torrent file itself. Make the program understand it. And then when you get the resulting file, make a program that can extract the archive as most things you download from torrents are compressed. I mean it might be feasible but I just dont see it happening. Anyone else care to share their thoughts and feelings about this.

Well for the .torrent file you can download tens of thousands of them (random number) from comp, place them sumwere in the psp and then leave ur house and download them wherever you are...with a wireless signal ofcourse.

yeah but the hard part would be coding the program to understand the torrent. Then it would be even hard to code a program that could extract files out of compressed archives. with a 333 mhz processor that would take AGES to complete.

For dial-up users this will be a miraculous creation!! (me for example)
For god sake...I can't even download Service Pack 2 (266 MB) with dial-up!! Not even demo's of PC games!!
You see my desperation?
P.S.
When you say it would take ages to uncompress stuff with a 333 Mhz CPU, do you mean in terms of programming or in terms of the PSP actually doing it??

You have to have a wireless router in order to get on the net with your psp. Although they do make dial up wireless routers....the psp was designed for high speed wifi.

There actually is a way to make a normal routers work with dial-up!! But that is not my "problem"...I just want to be able to download stuff from my hotspot!!
Thx, in advance...
